Medals of Honor: Eleanor Roosevelt Center Medal Ceremony

Location: Home of Eleanor Roosevelt, Val-Kill, Hyde Park, NY

Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the UDHR, this year’s event will honor those who have embraced Mrs. Roosevelt’s call to build a better world by their contributions to uphold Human Rights through – awareness, education, advocacy, or activism – close to home or around the world.

Drawing leaders from around the globe, this distinguished ceremony [hyperlink words back to Medals page] takes place at Mrs. Roosevelt’s home at the Val-Kill National Historic Site in Hyde Park, NY. The ceremony includes a VIP reception, a tour of Mrs. Roosevelt’s Val-Kill cottage, the private home where she entertained many world leaders, a three-course farm-to-table luncheon, and a program you won’t want to miss.
