The Eleanor Roosevelt Center Girls’ Leadership Worldwide (GLW) program is an international, eight-day summer leadership program for high school girls going into 10th or 11th grade. Participants from across the world of various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds come together to acquire the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to exercise leadership rooted in the courage, compassion, and perseverance modeled by Eleanor Roosevelt.
As part of the application process you are required to obtain TWO references who can attest to your qualifications for participation in the program. One reference must be from a school representative, and the other should come from a community member who knows you well. Neither of your references can come from a relative. Your references must be willing to fill out the online Applicant Reference Form and write a one-page letter of recommendation for you. If your reference would prefer a hard copy, he/she can email for one at GLW@ervk.org.
Letters of References may either send their reference forms and letters of recommendation directly to ERVK via email, GLW@ervk.org or fax (845-229-0742) by April 10, 2018.
